    A can lay railway track between two given stations in 16 days and B can do the same job in 12 days. With help of C, they did the job in 4 days only. Then, C alone can do the job in:

    B in 12
    ABC in 4
    L.c.m is 48 means A can do 3 units of work in 1 day nd B can do 4
    All of them do 12 units in 1 day
    A's + B's +C's = 12
    A + B = 7 means C can do 5 work
    So time taken by c is 48/5 days
